What is Acca Freeze?

Acca Freeze gives you the ability to freeze a winning score, in-play, on a match result acca of 5 legs or more. Once you've chosen a leg to freeze, it will be settled as a winner even if the other team goes on to win the match.

How can I use Acca Freeze?

Go to any Full Time Result coupon
Place an acca with 5+ legs (selections) on pre-match Full Time Result markets on selected competitions only. (max stake £20) - note, draws will qualify you but cannot be frozen
Go to 'My Bets' once your games have kicked off
Once a leg is in a winning position you'll be able to choose it to freeze
Note, you'll only be able to use freeze 3 times a week and 1 leg per bet

Can I bet on other sports and use Acca Freeze?

No. Only Football full time result markets will qualify you.

Can I bet on the draw with Acca Freeze?

The draw outcome will qualify you for Acca Freeze but you won't be able to freeze a draw leg at any time. Only win selections can be frozen.

Can I use Acca Freeze with a free bet?

Yes, you can use a free bet to qualify for Acca Freeze.

Why can't I use Acca Freeze?

As with any new feature, it may be that we're not offering it to all customers yet, all the criteria hasn't been met or it is possible that you are restricted in some way. Read our article here to find out more about restrictions.

We will only offer Acca Freeze on markets where cash out is available so if you have added a selection to your accumulator which is for a 'non cash out' market, this will remove it's availability. For more information on which markets are eligible for cash out, read our Cash Out Eligible Markets article.

On rare occasions, we may lose our live feed which would result in Acca Freeze becoming unavailable. Subsequently, we cannot guarantee 100% availability. As per our Sky Betting and Gaming General Terms & Conditions we do not accept any liability when this service cannot be provided.

I've placed my bet but I don't know what to do now?

You'll be able to see freeze opportunities in My Bets under the 'Open Bets' section. Once a leg is in-play and is in a winning position, you'll see the option to freeze. Note, your games don't have to be in-play at the same time, but you will only have the opportunity to freeze one leg per bet.

How do I know what markets Acca freeze is on?

Acca Freeze only applies to pre-kick off Full Time Result markets on Selected Competitions Only. In the vast majority of cases, the Acca Freeze symbol (a blue snowflake on a yellow background, see image below) will appear on your acca bet once you have placed it.

What can I do if the Acca Freeze symbol does not show up on my bet?

On some occasions, we aren't able to confirm Acca Freeze availability until a game kicks off. So it could be that it will be available later on. However, if you do not want to take this risk you can cash out your bet and place it on a selection that is available for Acca Freeze. For more information on Cash Out, read our Cash Out article.

Can I use 2up Full Time Result markets to qualify?

No, you'll only be able to use the Full Time Result market.

My leg is suspended and won't allow me to Freeze, why is this?

There are a number of reasons why your leg/selection might be suspended. You can read more about this on our cash out article here.

If I use Acca Freeze will it count towards Sky Bet Club?

Yes, using Acca Freeze will qualify you for Sky Bet Club.

Will I be able to cash out if I've frozen a leg and will it impact my value?

You will still be able to cash out your bets if you've frozen a leg, the frozen leg will add value to your cash out as per winning settled legs.

The match is in-play but I am unable to freeze, why is this?

Games that have reached extra time, aren't in a winning position or are suspended will be not shown the freeze option. Additionally, please check that your bet is eligible.

Do you offer Acca Freeze on enhanced accumulators?

No. Enhanced accumulators such as Price Boost are not included in Acca Freeze. For more information around enhanced accumulators, read our article here.

Do you offer Acca Freeze on Multi BuildABets?

Because Acca Freeze only applies to Full Time Result markets, it cannot be applied on accumulators containing BuildABets which will include selections from other markets.

If I have frozen a leg with a goal that is overturned by VAR, will my freeze still count?

Frozen legs will still count even if the goal is overturned by VAR. During VAR queries, it may be that the freeze function is suspended whilst we await the decision.

What happens if a leg is abandoned/postponed?

If you freeze a leg and that game is then abandoned; your freeze will stand.

What happens if I've frozen a leg in my bet and another game is abandoned?

The bet will be settled with the remaining legs including frozen legs.

What happens if I haven't frozen a leg in my bet yet but a game is abandoned?

If this causes you to have less than 5 legs left in your bet, you won't be able to freeze a remaining leg.

What happens if I haven't frozen a leg in my bet yet but a game is postponed?
