Bet Types

Bet Types Available

It might not be too obvious what bets like 'Goliath' and 'Super Yankee' are, but that doesn't mean they can't be fun bets that win you plenty of cash.

Below are a list of the various different bet types we offer and an explanation about what they involve:

Single

  • A Single is a bet on one selection in one event. If your selection wins, so do you.

Double

  • A Double is one bet made up of two selections in different events. Both selections must be successful for your bet to win.

Treble

  • A Treble is one bet involving three selections in different events. All three selections have to win for your bet to win.

Four-Fold Accumulator

  • A Four-Fold Accumulator is one bet made up of four selections in different events. If they all win, so do you. But if any of the selections lose, your bet does too.

Bet Types with more than 1 unit stake

The following bet types are all made up of more than one bet. Your stake is multiplied by the amount of bets involved and as long as one of the bets wins, you will receive some winnings (to get maximum winnings, all the bets must win).

Patent

  • A Patent has seven bets, but is made up of three selections. Your three selections make up three single bets, three double bets and one treble bet.

Trixie

  • A Trixie has four bets and totals three selections. It contains three doubles and one treble bet.

Yankee

  • A Yankee has eleven bets involving four selections. You have six doubles, four trebles and one four-fold.

Lucky 15

  • A Lucky 15 consists of fifteen bets involving four selections. You will have four singles, six doubles, four trebles and one four-fold.

Canadian/Super Yankee

  • A Canadian (sometimes known as a Super Yankee) has five selections which total 26 bets. There are ten doubles, ten trebles, five four-folds plus one five-fold.

Lucky 31

  • A Lucky 31 consists of 31 bets involving five selections. It has five singles, ten doubles, ten trebles, five four-folds and one five-fold.

Heinz

  • A Heinz is 57 bets from six selections. There are fifteen doubles, twenty trebles, fifteen four-folds, six five-folds and one six-fold.

Lucky 63

  • A Lucky 63 is made up of 63 bets from six selections. You have six singles, fifteen doubles, twenty trebles, fifteen four-folds, six five-folds and one six-fold.

Super Heinz

  • A Super Heinz  is 120 bets from seven selections. It has twenty one doubles, thirty five trebles, thirty five four-folds, twenty one five-folds, seven six-folds and one seven-fold.

Goliath

  • A Goliath consists of 247 bets from eight selections. There are 28 doubles, 56 trebles, 70 four-folds, 56 five-folds, 28 six-folds, eight seven-folds and one eight-fold.

Perm (or Permutation) Betting

  • If you've made more than two selections, it's possible to 'perm' them in a bet. This allows you to bet on all the doubles in three selections, all the trebles in four selections or all the 4-folds in five selections etc.
  • This is a convenient way to place a lot of multiple bets and can produce great winnings. For instance, if you place a perm bet of doubles from four selections you will receive some winnings if only two of your selections win.
  • To get the maximum winnings from this type of bet, all your selections have to win. When you place your bet, you'll be shown a box which calculates your possible winnings* - please be aware that these are your maximum winnings and will only be achieved if all your selections win.
  • *Please note that multiple returns shown on the bet slip are maximum potential returns, i.e. the most you can win. When a single dividend is part of the multiple, potential returns cannot be calculated and ''n/a'' is displayed in it's place.
