Reasons for Void Bet

Why have you voided my bet?

There are many reasons why a bet or selection may have been voided. These could include:

Non Runners

If a selection fails to take part in an event, it may be classed as a 'Non Runner'. For rules on Non Runners, please click here.

Event has already started

On a small number of occasions, a market may be inadvertently 'offered' when a result has already been determined or an event has started. As per our Bet Acceptance Policy, we reserve the right to void bets when this is found to be the case.

An example of the above could be:

  • You place an In-Play bet at the time of 42:34 in the first half, on Harry Kane to score the first goal
  • Harry Kane had already scored the first goal at 42:01, but the market was inadvertently offered
  • Therefore, as the result was already known before you placed your bet - it would be made void as per our Bet Acceptance Policy

If you are unsure as to the reasons why a bet has been voided, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Voided as per our Rules

On occasions, we reserve the right to void bets if circumstances behind an event or market change, e.g. a reduction in overs of a Cricket match. This will always be detailed in the rules of a market and these can be found by using the 'Search' function at the top of the page or visiting the Betting Category, with two of our most common queries detailed below.

Insure Bet (Racing)

This market will detail the number of places eligible, but should your selection not win, your bet will be made void providing it finishes inside of the places listed. Full Racing rules available here (Greyhounds) & here (Horse Racing).

Postponed/Abandoned Matches (Football)

Postponements and Abandonments are common within Football Matches and voids are applied at different times, depending on the information available. Please see here for complete rules.
