We're making some updates at Sky Bet, and we understand you may have some questions. These, of course, we are happy to answer.


We've pulled together answers to some frequently asked questions but if you can't find the information you need, please contact us and we'll be happy to chat.

Betting Features and Promotions

How do I opt in to a promotion?

We have made it easier and simpler to opt in to your favourite promos. An opt-in button is now always available in the promotional banner. 



I can't find some of my open or settled bets

Bets that were placed before we started our upgrade have been moved to a separate tab with the date of your upgrade. You can toggle between this and your more recent bets. Your older bets will also be missing some previously available information: 

  • Tracking Progress Bars
  • Notifications 
  • Re-Use Selections
  • Share Bet
  • Scoreboards 

The Cash Out button is not available on these older bets, but a cash out may still be available. Please speak to customer support about cashing out any open bets made before the upgrade.



Part of my RequestABet is void but the bet is still open 

We have made some changes to RequestABet. We no longer void the whole bet if a selection in the bet is void, we reprice it instead. You can cash out if you wish. 


How do I place a BuildABet?

We have upgraded BuildABet for a smoother, easier experience. You can now place a BuildABet from anywhere on the event page by selecting eligible markets or you can use the dedicated BuildABet tab. 

BuildABet are now available on more sports, including American Football and Basketball.


I can't place Tote Placepot bets

Tote Placepot is briefly paused whilst we make some upgrades to Sky Bet.


I can't find the booking points markets on Football

We have made it easier to bet on card markets. You are now able to easily bet on the total number of cards rather than having to calculate booking points. Please see our 'Over/Under Cards' markets on the football event pages. These can also be added to your BuildABets.


I can't find any match commentary

Match commentary has been paused while we make some upgrades to Sky Bet.


I can't place Lotto bets

Lotto is briefly paused whilst we make some upgrades to Sky Bet.


Where are the horse racing form indicators?

These icons are being updated and will be available very soon.


I can't rotate my App to landscape

Landscape is briefly paused in the App whilst we make some upgrades. In the meantime, if you would like to use landscape, please use your web browser.



Features in your account and notifications

New and quicker ways to deposit and withdraw

We now offer Instant Bank Transfer for the first time. This allows you to move funds instantly and securely by connecting you straight to your bank account and returning you to SkyBet to continue playing. Our article tells you more.


I have added a new payment method and I'm struggling to withdraw funds

On any new payment method, you must make a deposit with us before any funds can be withdrawn. This may seem like an extra step, but it is essential to ensuring our customers transact with us safely. If you are still having problems withdrawing funds, our withdrawal queries tells you more.


I can't find some of my transaction history

We've upgraded parts of your account and any transactions that were made before the update can be found by using a new filter. It will be labelled with the date of your upgrade and you can review all your older transactions from the last 6 months. For more information on your transaction history, read our article here.


Where has the Notification Bell gone and how will I get notifications? 

You will receive notifications as usual on site, but you will only see the notification once. When you have dismissed the notification, it will no longer be stored in the bell icon.

My Recently Played games are not visible

If you find your playing history is not available, you don't need to do anything - it will populate again as you play.


I can't find a game I have played before

As our updates roll out, so too will our availability of games so you'll see your favourite games again very soon.


I'm being asked to choose a new nickname

As we made our updates, we could not keep any nicknames you may have created. When you log in, you'll be prompted to set it again if it is still available. Otherwise, you can choose another.
