Pay by Bank is a deposit and withdrawal payment method for Sky Betting and Gaming customers! This method allows our customers to link a bank account to your Sky Betting and Gaming account, enabling you to deposit and withdraw instantly!
How does Pay by Bank work?
Pay by Bank is a type of payment method, powered by Open Banking. It's easier than traditional bank transfers and more secure than card payments. Your funds can settle within seconds instantly - and you can do it all from within the app.
How long do Pay by Bank withdrawals take?
Please allow at least 90 minutes for first time Pay by Bank withdrawals. After your first time, withdrawals should be instant!
What happens if my transfer isn't in my bank within 90 minutes?
Please wait 24 hours as in rare instances payments can be delayed. Once 24 hours has passed, if you have still not received your funds then you should get in touch with us by selecting 'Contact Us' at the bottom of this article.
How do I use Pay by Bank?
It's simple:
1. Click on ''Deposit'', then ''Add method'' and select ''Pay by Bank''
2. Select your bank from the list. Make sure that it's your personal or joint account and you are the account holder.
3. Once you've chosen your bank, enter an amount and click the black ''Connect to your Bank'' button at the bottom. You may have to scroll down on smaller handheld devices to see the connect button.
4. Click ''Confirm payment'' and you'll then be taken to your banking app where you can log in to authenticate the payment.
5. Once authenticated with your bank, navigate back to the app to proceed.
6. Wait for the payment to complete. You will be informed if your deposit has been successful. Funds should settle instantly in your account once complete.
Please note that you don't need to input your bank details like account number or IBAN to register for Pay by Bank! Steps 2 & 3 will only be necessary when using Pay by Bank for the first time with your bank account.

How secure is Pay by Bank?
We partnered with TrueLayer, an FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) approved provider, to securely connect to your bank and process your payment. With Pay by Bank, you authenticate the payment with your bank meaning you benefit from bank-level security and your personal details are never shared with anyone. Who can use Pay by Bank and which banks are eligible?
The majority of Sky Betting and Gaming users will have access to Pay by Bank, with most banks currently eligible. A full list of bank availability will be displayed when you start to add a Pay by Bank association via the 'Deposits' page within your account.
UK Customers:
For UK customers you need to be using £ as your preferred currency and have an eligible UK £ Bank Account.
- Both Instant Deposits and Withdrawals are available for eligible banks!
Irish Customers:
- For Irish customers you need to be using 'euro' as your preferred currency and have an eligible Irish Euro Bank Account.
- Instant Deposits are now available for eligible banks.
- At present, Instant Withdrawals are available for Revolut users. We plan to be able to offer this to more customers soon, as more Irish banks enable the functionality needed!
- Non-Instant Withdrawals are typically received within 2 - 6 hours!

Please note there may be some slight differences on the offering for UK and Irish customers:
For UK customers:
- Both Instant Deposits and Withdrawals are available for eligible banks!
For Irish customers:
- Instant Deposits are now available for eligible banks.
- Please note that after your initial Pay by Bank Deposit, you will not be able to withdraw for a period of up to 24 hours. Please note that this will only happen after your first deposit, as we aim to protect our customers and keep your funds safe.
- At present, Instant Withdrawals are available for Revolut users. We plan to be able to offer this to more customers soon, as more Irish banks enable the functionality needed!
- Non-Instant Withdrawals are typically received within 2 - 6 hours!
What is the minimum withdrawal amount for Pay by Bank?
The minimum withdrawal amount for an Pay by Bank is £5.00.
How can I remove bank transfer methods?
You can remove bank associations through the 'Manage Payment Methods' tab within your account, clicking delete and following the instructions.
How many bank associations can I have on my account?
You are limited to having three associations per account at any one time.
Sky Betting and Gaming has appeared on my past transactions and transfer list in my Revolut App, can I make a deposit directly into my Sky Betting and Gaming account from my Revolut App?
No! Please note that all Pay by Bank Deposits must be made through the Sky Betting and Gaming application. Any transactions attempted outside of this will have to be returned to your Revolut Account, please note you may need to contact customer service to ensure this transaction is returned. You can do this by selecting 'Contact Us' at the bottom of this article.
Are there any fees associated with Pay by Bank?
Fees do not apply to Pay by Bank.
