We offer a range of straight, combination and reverse forecasts and tricasts. An explanation of each of these bets (as well as how to place them) is given below.
Forecasts
A forecast bet asks you to predict who will come first and who will come second in a race (in that particular order).
To place a forecast bet, beneath the 'Forecast & Tricast' tab, you will see a list of options to select from. Selections are all listed as '1st place / 2nd place'. Simply select one of these options to add to your betslip and place the bet at the odds offered. To place a forecast bet using SP, see the straight forecast section below.
Forecasts are accepted in all races of 3 or more actual runners and will be settled as a straight forecast (selections to finish 1st and 2nd in correct order) in accordance with the computer straight forecast dividend. If there are less than 3 actually running in a race then all forecasts for that race will be void.
In the event that there is only one finisher in a race and no Forecast dividend is returned, all Forecasts bets with the winning selection to finish first will be settled as WIN SP singles on the winning horse. All other forecast bets will be losing bets.
Forecast Bets are settled in accordance with the computer SP straight forecast returns. If for any reason a Forecast SP return is not given, bets will be made void.
Selections should always be named. Unnamed Favourites are not accepted and where taken in error will be made void.
Forecast Bets involving a non-runner will be made void.
