What is BuildABet?
BuildABet is a new way to bet with Sky Bet. You can now place multiple selections from the same event into a single bet, just like an accumulator.
What is a Multi Build A Bet?
To further your BuildABet experience, we are now allowing multiple BuildABet selections onto the Betslip in order to create accumulators.
How do I start building my bet?
For eligible fixtures you will see a BuildABet tab at the top of the event.
To locate this you will need to:
- Navigate to 'Football'
- Then find the fixture you wish to place a BuildABet on
- Then click the BuildABet tab at the top of your page
- You will then enter our BuildABet mode where you can begin to make your selections
How do I add selections?
Adding selections are as simple as any other area of the Sky Bet website. Simply tap the price for the selection you wish to add and this will add that selection to your BuildABet betslip.
How do I add a BuildABet as one leg of a larger bet?
It's now possible to add both a BuildABet (with multiple selections) and another bet (such as a single or a double) to the same betslip to include as part of a larger bet. To do this, add your selections to the betslip in the usual way and then ensure you place your stake amount in the right box based on the type of bet you want to place. This is how your betslip will look in this situation:
If you wanted to use your BuildABet on the Denmark v Spain game as 1 leg of a treble (with Northern Ireland & Scotland) you can add your stake to the stake box under 'Bet Builder Multis' and it will place them together, in the same bet.
How do I remove a selection?
To remove a selection from your BuildABet, you can simply tap the bin icon next to the selection in your betslip.
How many selections can I add?
Single BuildABet
There is a maximum of 10 selections for a BuildABet.
Multi BuildABet
- You will only be able to place a maximum of 20 selections per betslip and a maximum of 10 selections per BuildABet.
- If you were to include 10 selections in one BuildABet, then 10 selections in another, you will have reached the maximum number of selections for that betslip.
- You can place multiple BuildABets (more than 2 per betslip) so long as the total number of selections in the bet slip does not exceed 20. For example, you could place 4 BABs onto a betslip with 5 selections made for each BAB.
Why is it telling me my bet isn't buildable?
Sometimes we will not be able to generate a price for your BuildABet. The majority of the time this will be because 2 or more of the selections in the BuildABet betslip are contradictory. For example, Liverpool to win 2-0 and Over 2.5 Goals in the match. When this happens you can remove the selections which are problematic and continue to build.
How do I place my BuildABet?
Selecting your BuildABet selections will automatically add these into the betslip. Once you're happy, you can head to the betslip and place your BuildABet like any other bet on Sky Bet, by filling in the stake box and selecting 'Place Bet'.
How can I view my placed BuildABet?
All BuildABet bets will be located in My Bets and your account history.
What happens if one of my selections is voided?
If one selection of your BuildABet is voided, the remaining selections will continue to run.
For example, if you had placed 4 selections within your BuildABet and 1 selection is void, it will settle on the remaining 3 legs, at the odds of the remaining selections.
I have added selections from the same game to my betslip but I cannot combine them to make a BuildABet?
Not all markets are currently eligible for BuildABet. The best way to identify BuildABet markets is to build your bet from the dedicated BuildABet tab.
Does BuildABet have cash out?
Yes. All of our BuildABets will be eligible for Cash Out (standard cash out rules apply).
