Account Stake Restrictions

Why is my stake limited?

To enable us to offer innovative and exciting experiences to our customers, we have to manage our costs and liabilities to make us sustainable.

To do this, bet amounts may be limited for the reasons below:

  • Maximum bet amounts differ depending upon a number of factors, including the proximity to the event, the sport and the market that you are placing a bet on.
  • We review the maximum bet amount allowed on our most popular promotions, like our Super Boosts, to ensure we can make them available to as many customers as possible.
  • We also review the types of bets placed by our customers and, as a result, we may reduce the betting limits available to a small minority. Any such decision is based on the type of betting activity noted, not the amount won by an account holder. We continue to monitor accounts after applying a restriction and, in some cases, we'll reverse our original decision if we observe a change in betting behaviour. However, we will not remove account restrictions upon request.

All customers are still able to make use of our £500 Guaranteed Minimum Lay to Lose offer on Group 1 & 2 Horse Racing. You can find more information on this guarantee here.

How would I know if a stake restriction has been applied to my account?

Your limits will be visible when you log in to place a bet. Place a selection in your bet slip, enter your desired stake and if it is over the permitted amount a message will appear showing your staking limit.

Can I find out why my stakes were restricted?

As per our Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to limit the maximum amount a customer may place on any market at our reasonable discretion. As such, we are not obliged to provide further information in relation to this matter.

Will a stake account restriction be reviewed/removed?

Whilst such restrictions are reviewed routinely based on account activity, they are not done so on request and such decisions are not taken lightly.
