Winter Sports Rules

Winter sports are competitive sports or non-competitive recreational activities which are played on snow or ice. Most are variations of skiing, ice skating and sledding.

General Rules

  • Events that are postponed, delayed, or rescheduled (including delays exceeding 48 hours due to weather or other factors) will remain valid, provided the event is ultimately completed before the Closing Ceremony.
  • Bets will stand regardless of whether a participant starts or completes the event, except where the event itself is declared void or abandoned by the official governing body.

Outright Event Winner

You're betting on: which competitor will win the event.

  • All markets will be treated as "all in, run or not" so all bets will stand regardless of participation in the event once bets are struck
  • Dead Heat Rules may apply
  • All events must be completed for bets to stand.

Podium Finish

You're betting on: Which competitor will finish in the first 3 in the final event standings.

  • Dead Heat Rules may apply
  • All events must be completed for bets to stand

Nationality of Winner

You're betting on: What the nationality is of the event winner.

Match Betting (Head to head or 3-way)

You're betting on: Which of the offered competitors will finish the event in the higher position.

  • All events must be completed for bets to stand.
  • Bets void in event of a tie.
  • All offered competitors must start the event for bets to stand.
  • The winner is settled as the competitor who achieves the highest standing in the final classification.

Gold medal markets

You're betting on: The total gold medal count of the offered competitor

  • Any team events will count as one gold medal.
  • In the event of a tie - Market will be settled off IOC medal table.

Curling Betting Rules

Outright Match Winner

You're betting on: Who will win the match

  • The match must be completed or conceded by the losing team for bets to stand.
  • All bets will be settled on the official result (in points) when the match is completed - including extra ''ends''.

Outright Tournament Winner

You're betting on: Who will win the tournament

  • When a betting event within a sporting tournament (e.g. world, European or national championships, Olympics etc.) is postponed within the official time allocated for the event, all transacted bets remain valid.
  • If a sporting tournament is unable to commence within the official time allocated, all bets are void.

End Betting (Correct Score)

You're betting on: the correct final score in ends.

End Winner

You're betting on: the winner of a specific end.

  • The respective end must be completed for bets to stand.
