Sailing Rules

The sport of sailing involves a variety of competitive sailing formats that are sanctioned through various sailing federations and yacht clubs.

General Rules

  • All bets will be settled according to the official result at the time of podium presentation. Subsequent amendments do not count. Whilst we will endeavour to settle all markets as quickly as possible, this can sometimes be delayed due to official investigations over DQ's etc.
  • Olympic Games - All Events will be settled on the official IOC (International Olympic Committee) Results.

Match Winner

You're betting on: Which sailor will progress to the next round.

  • All named competitors must start for bets to stand.
  • If an event is postponed, bets will be void
  • These rules also apply for the live versions of these markets

Event/Medal Winner

You're betting on: Which athlete will win this event.

  • In the event that any competitor is disqualified for any reason, including for false starts, bets will be treated as losers on that selection. Olympic Games betting will be treated as antepost, with bets on all competitors considered to be runners regardless of participation in the finals.

 To Win A Medal

You're betting on: Which athlete will be awarded a Medal for this event.

  • In the event that any competitor is disqualified for any reason, including for false starts, bets will be treated as losers on that selection. Olympic Games betting will be treated as antepost, with bets on all competitors considered to be runners regardless of participation in the finals.
