Pickleball Rules

What is Pickleball?

Pickleball is a racket or paddle sport in which two (singles) or four (doubles) players hit a perforated, hollow plastic ball with paddles over a net until one side is unable to return the ball or commits an infraction.

General Rules

  • In the event that a match starts but is not completed, the player who progresses to the next round (or is declared the winner in a final) will be considered the winner in match betting markets only. The opposing player will be settled as a loser. Note that other markets, such as "set winner" markets, will be voided unless the market result has been unconditionally determined.
  • Bets are declared void if a stated player is replaced. This rule applies to any of the four players in a doubles match.
  • Official score sheets will be used for the settlement of all bets. In cases where the official score sheet is found to be clearly incorrect, Flutter reserves the right to use its own recorded statistics for settlement purposes.
  • Players who are awarded at the podium will be declared the event winners for settlement purposes. Any subsequent disqualifications will not overturn the original settlement.
