Ice Hockey Rules

General Rules

In the event of an abandonment all bets will be void, unless the settlement of the bet has already been determined.
When a handicap/totals tie occurs (known as a "push"), bets will be made void unless a Handicap Draw selection is offered.
Winning margin betting is from scratch, i.e. based on no handicap.
Markets are offered for both Regular Time (result at end of the 3rd Period) and for the overall match result after Overtime and Shootout. For markets including Overtime and Shootout, a single goal will be included in the outcome for the team winning in a shoot-out as per Ice Hockey Scoring.
Period Specific markets do not include Over Time or Shootout.

Match Result (No Overtime)

You're betting on: The result at the end of regulation time.

Win Match Including Overtime

You're betting on: the winner of the game after any Overtime or Shootout have been concluded.

The winning selection will be settled as the team who either a) Wins the match in regulation time, b) If a tie after regulation time, wins the match in overtime or c) If there is no score in overtime, wins the match after a shootout.

Series Betting

The winner will be determined as the team that advances from the series of matches usually played over (but not limited to) best of 1,3,5 or 7 matches.
Matches typically take place at home and away venues with the higher seeded team awarded an extra home game.
If the format of home/away/neutral venues are changed before the entire series has started then bets will stand. If this information changes after the series has started then bets will be voided. Moves from one neutral venue to another neutral venue will not be deemed as a format change and bets would stand in this instance.
If one or more teams does not take any part in the event then all bets on the market will be made void.
If one or more teams forfeit a match or the entire series once the series has started then the winner will be settled as the team that advances.
If both teams are disqualified or decide to forfeit a series then bets will be made void.

Handicap

You're betting on: The winner of the game after the stated handicap has been applied.

On handicap markets where the draw isn't offered if scores are tied after handicap is applied, bets will be made void.

Totals Goals

You're betting on: Whether the total number of goals in the game will be above or below the stated total.

If the total goals are equal to the stated Under/Over total, bets will be made void.
Shootouts will count towards the total as one goal awarded to the winner.

Total Goals (Flat Line)

You're betting on: How many goals will be scored in the game.

If the game goes to a shootout, a goal will be added to the already accumulated goals.

1st/2nd/3rd Period Result

You're betting on: The result at the end of the stated period.

Will there be overtime?

You're betting on: Whether the match will go to overtime.

This market will only be offered on matches which have the potential to go to overtime.
In the unlikely instance that this market is offered on any match which cannot go to OT, all bets would be made void.

Highest Scoring Period

You're betting on: Which period will have the highest combined score.

If two or more periods share the highest number of goals, all bets will be made void.

Correct Score

You're betting on: The correct score after any Overtime or Shootout have been concluded.

OT/Shootouts will be included in this market.

60 Minute Correct Score

You're betting on: The correct score at the end of the 60 minute game.

OT/Shootouts will not be included in this market.

First/Last Team to Score

You're betting on: Which team will score the first/last goal.

If the game ends goalless and goes to a shootout the winner of the shootout will be the winning selection.

Next Team To Score

You're betting on: Which team will score the next goal.

Overtime goals count.
For the purposes of settlement; should there be no more goals up to the penalty shootout, then the winner of the shootout will be deemed as having scored the next goal.
The 'not scored' selection: This becomes available for betting when this outcome can occur. Due to the nature of ice hockey, no draws can occur; so when a game is tied a goal is inexorably going to be scored in either normal time, OT or a shootout.

Double Chance

You're betting on: The match finishing as either one of two Match Result market options, e.g. Team A & Draw etc.

Bets will be settled on Regulation time and will not include Overtime/Shootout).

Both Teams to Score

You're betting on: Whether both teams score in the match.

Overtime and Shootout do not count for this market.

Winning Margin

You're betting on: What the winning margin will be at the end of regulation time.

Overtime and Shootout do not count for this market.

Team to Win Most Periods

You're betting on: Which team will win the most periods.

Overtime and Shootout do not count for this market.

Conference Winner

You're betting on: Which team will win the Conference including the play-offs.

Division Winner

You're betting on: Which team will finish top of the division after the regular season concludes.

If the season length is adjusted for any reason then bets will stand provided a division winner is declared.
Where teams finish with an identical record the tie breaker rules used by the competition shall apply. In the absence of tie breaker rules bets will be settled as dead heat.

Daily Grand Salami: Total Goals

You're betting on: How many goals will be scored in the days fixtures.

NHL fixtures from the stated date in the US will be used for this market.
All fixtures on the day must be completed for bets to stand.

NHL Enhanced Accas, Price Boost & RequestABets

All fixtures on the day must be completed for bets to stand.

RequestABets

If a player does not participate the selection will be a void.
Player Goals, Shots, Assists, Points, Blocks and Saves are settled on the events that occur in regulation time and overtime (excluding Period Specific markets). Shootouts do not count.

Enhanced Accas

In the event that a match does not take place - bets will be settled at reduced odds.
Player Goals, Shots, Assists, Points, Blocks and Saves are settled on the events that occur in regulation time and overtime (excluding Period Specific markets). Shootouts do not count.
Own goals do not count towards goalscorer selections.
