Gaelic Games Rules

What are Gaelic Games? Gaelic games are a set of sports played worldwide, though they are particularly popular in Ireland, where they originated. They include Gaelic football, hurling and camogie.

The following rules cover both Domestic and International series betting markets.

General Rules

If a match is not played at the advertised venue, all bets placed prior to the venue change will stand as long as the game is not switched to the designated away teams ground.
All bets are settled on the official result at the end of normal time - including any injury time. Extra time does not count, unless stated otherwise.
If a match is postponed, all bets will be made void.
If a match is abandoned before completion, all markets on that match will be void, unless a definitive result for that market has already been determined. For example, if a Match was abandoned with the following score-line: Team A 3-6 v Team B 1-7. Any bet in U/O 3.5 Goals would be settled as a winner or loser, because four goals have already been score. Any bet on U/O 4.5 Goals would be made void as the final number of goals is not known and the bet could still win or lose.

Scoring Explanation

A goal (below the cross bar into the net) counts as 3 points.
A single point (over the cross bar) counts as 1 points.
Match Result and overall score/points based markets are settled on the total combined points from all Goals and Single Points. Where betting is offered on "Single" Points, this will be included as such in the market naming. In other cases, "Points" betting will relate to the overall score of the match.

Match Result

You're betting on: Who will win the match.

All bets settled on regulation time only.
Bets will be settled on the overall combined score accumulated from Goals and Points scored. (Goal=3 Point=1).

Team to Score Next Goal

You're betting on: Which team will score the next goal in the match.

All bets settled on regulation time only.
Only Goals (below the cross bar) count.

Team to Score Next 'but one' Single Point

You're betting on: Which team will score the next but one single point in the match.

All bets settled on regulation time only.
Only Single Points (over the cross bar) count.
Due to the quick scoring nature of single points, bets are offered on the next but one point, rather than next point.

Most Goals

You're betting on: Which team will score the most goals in the match.

All bets settled on regulation time only.
Only Goals (below the cross bar) count.

Most Single Points

You're betting on: Which team will score the most single points in the match.

All bets settled on regulation time only.
Only Single Points (above the cross bar) count.

Total Goals and Total Team Goals

You're betting on: How many goals will be scored in the match.

All bets settled on regulation time only.
Only Goals (below the cross bar) count.

Total Single Points and Total Team Single Points

You're betting on: How many single points will be scored in the match.

All bets settled on regulation time only.
Only single points (above the cross bar) count.

Total Score/Points and Total Team Score/Points

You're betting on: How many points will be scored in the match or by the team in question.

All bets settled on regulation time only.
Bets will be settled on the combined score accumulated from Single Points and Goals (Goals=3, Single Points=1).

Handicap Betting

You're betting on: Which team will win once the handicap is applied to the overall match score.

All bets settled on regulation time only.
Bets will be settled on the combined score accumulated from Single Points and Goals (Goals=3, Single Points=1).
Handicap Tie refers to the match resulting in a draw after the stated handicap is applied to the Home Team. For example - 'Handicap Tie (-1)' will be a winner when the Home Team wins by exactly 1.

Winning Margin and HT Winning Margin

You're betting on: How many points the winning margin will be at the end of regulation time or half time.

Bets will be settled on the combined score accumulated from Single Points and Goals (Goals=3, Single Points=1).

Double Result

You're betting on: Who will be leading at Half Time and at Full Time.

All bets settled on regulation time only.
Bets will be settled on the combined score accumulated from Single Points and Goals (Goals=3, Single Points=1).
Bets will be settled on who is leading the match at Half Time and at Full Time.

First Goal Scorer

You're betting on: Which player will score the first goal of the match.

Any player coming on as a substitute after the first goal or who takes no part in the game is deemed a non-runner.
Own goals do not count. In the case of an own goal being scored, 1st Goal Scorer bets will be settled on the 2nd Goal Scorer.

Anytime Goal Scorer

You're betting on: Which player will score a goal in the match.

If the selected player participates in the match at any point then bets will stand for that player. If they do not participate and remain on the bench then bets will be voided.

International Rules Series

Match Treble

You're betting on: Who will win the match, who will score the 1st Point and Total Goals scored.

All bets settled on regulation time only.

Winning Margin

You're betting on: What will the winning team's margin of victory be.

Bets will be settled on the overall combined score accumulated from Goals, Overs and Behinds. (Goal=6 Over=3, Behind=1)

Double Result

You're betting on: The result of the match at half-time and full-time.

Bets settled on regulation time only.
Bets will be settled on the overall combined score accumulated from Goals, Overs and Behinds. (Goal=6 Over=3, Behind=1)

First Scoring Play

You're betting on: Which team will score the first points of the game and the method in which they have been scored.

Goals, Overs and Behinds will count as first scoring play.

First Team to Score

You're betting on: Which team will score the 1st points in the game.

All bets settled on regulation time only.
Both goals (below the cross bar) and points (over the cross bar) will count for settlement.

Highest Scoring Quarter

You're betting on: Which quarter will have the highest number of points scored.

If there is a tie for highest scoring quarter then bets are settled as a tie.
Bets will be settled on the overall combined score accumulated from Goals, Overs and Behinds. (Goal=6 Over=3, Behind=1)

First Quarter Betting

You're betting on: Who will win the first quarter.

The First quarter must be completed for bets to stand.
If quarter ends in a tie then bets will be settled at the tie price if offered.
Bets will be settled on the overall combined score accumulated from Goals, Overs and Behinds. (Goal=6 Over=3, Behind=1)

Race to 10 Points

You're betting on: Which team will be the first to score ten points.

Bets will be settled on the overall combined score accumulated from Goals, Overs and Behinds. (Goal=6 Over=3, Behind=1)

To Score a Goal and Win

You're betting on: The named player to score a goal and their team to win in regular time.

Enhanced Accumulators

If one of the selections contained in the Enhanced Accumulator is void then the remaining selections will be settled with a win reduction.

RequestABet Specials

Extra time does not count - All bets are for "regular time" only, periods of extra time and/or penalties will not count (unless otherwise stated).
If the named participant in the bet does not take any part in the event, the bet will be made void.
For any obvious pricing errors we reserve the right to cancel any bets placed at that wrong price, for which we will offer the bet to be re-placed at the correct price.
