Please find below details of our Football rules regarding specials markets. An example of a special market would be our Next Manager To Go or Player X to Sign for Team Y markets.

Cup Draw Specials

You are betting on the official results of a cup draw, on who the teams will be drawn against in the named draw. If the bet states a specific criteria (e.g team, country, league) then this criteria must be met. Bets settled according to the official results of the named tournament. In the event of a voided draw, bets will be settled on the result of any re-draw that is carried out and declared the official result.

We offer a wide range of topical markets on Players currently in the public eye. Amongst others, these can include:

Next Permanent Club Captain

You're betting on: who will be appointed the next permanent captain of a club.

Others available on request
Every effort will be made to quote all potential new captain for the market, but should a player not quoted be appointed, all bets will stand.
Interim captains will not count unless they complete at least 10 competitive games as captain for the club.

Debut Specials

You're betting on: whether one of the stated eventualities will occur during the stated player's debut, e.g. Scores on Debut, Booked on Debut etc.

Player X Under/Over League Goals

You're betting on: whether the total number of league goals a nominated player scores over the season is above or below the stated total

Official League result will be used to determine settlement
Goals in other competitions will not count

PFA Player of the Year

You're betting on: the player awarded the PFA Player of the Year as voted for by other players.

Please note this is a different award to the PFA Fans' Player of the Year.

Fantasy Six-A-Side Top Points Scorer

You're betting on: Which player will score the most Fantasy Six-A-Side points in that weeks named fixture.

If the player does not take part in the match, bets on that player will be void. If the player takes part in the match, bets will stand.
Where two players score the same points in the game week dead heat rules will apply.

To Make 23 Man Squad

You're betting on: a player to be named in the initial squad announcement for the specified tournament.

Bets settled on the initial 23 man squad announcement. Players subsequently drafted in as injury replacements before kick off in the specified team's first match of the named tournament will also be settled as winners.
If a player subsequently plays for another country in a competitive fixture and is therefore no longer eligible to represent the country specified in the bet, then bets placed before they do so will still stand.
Bets will stand regardless of the position they are called up for, eg if a player named under 'Defenders' in the betting is listed as a 'Midfielder' in the official squad announcement then bets will be settled as normal.

To Be In Starting XI

You're betting on: a player to start the specified match.

Bets settled on the eleven players on the pitch at kick off.
If a player subsequently plays for another country in a competitive fixture and is therefore no longer eligible to represent the country specified in the bet, then bets placed before they do so will still stand.
Bets will stand regardless of the position they are playing, eg if a player named under 'Defenders' in the betting is playing as a midfielder then bets will be settled as normal.

Transfer Specials

General Rules

Loan deals WILL count unless otherwise stated.
In cases where it is unclear whether a deal has been completed before a deadline, we reserve the right to delay settlement until official confirmation has been received from governing bodies.
The player must be registered to the club in question before the specified time frame ends. Pre contracts or other similar agreements that signal business to be completed at a date later than specified will not count.
When a player moves to a club, and is then immediately loaned out to another club, we will settle on the club that has signed the player permanently and not the loanee club.

Player X To Sign For Team Y In Summer/January Window

You're betting on: whether the stated player will sign for the nominated club during the Summer or January Transfer Window and by the date specified in the market name.

If the player fails to move club within the specified window and before the specified date, all bets placed on the player to stay at their current club will be winners, all other bets will be settled as losers
Although every effort will be made to quote all potential new clubs, should a club not quoted sign the specified player all bets will stand.
If a player retires, becomes a manager, becomes a coach or takes another non-playing role, all bets will be void.

Transfers - Next Permanent Club

You're betting on: whether the stated player will sign for the nominated club as their next permanent club.

Loan deals will not count.
Bets settled upon completion of any transfer. Pre contracts or other similar agreements that signal business to be completed at a date later than specified will not count until transfer is completed.
Playing transfers only. If a player leaves their club to take up any other position than a player bets will be losers.
Bets will be losers if nominated player remains at their current club for their whole playing career.

Premier League Transfer Deadline Day Specials

Transfer deal must be stated on Premier League website
Player signed must be on Official Premier League squad list (including players under the age of 21).

Match Specials

You can choose from a wide range of Match Specials covering a variety of possibilities occurring in a particular match. These can include such markets as Team X to score Y number of goals in 1st Half, Team Z to score in 1st 10 mins etc. amongst many others. Any specific conditions to these markets will be notified with the green '?' tool tip icon available above the market list.

Manager Specials

Next Permanent Manager

You're betting on: who will be appointed the next permanent manager of a club/country

Others available on request
Every effort will be made to quote all potential new managers for the market, but should a manager not quoted be appointed, all bets will stand.
Caretaker and interim managers will not count unless they complete at least 10 competitive games and they will then be deemed the permanent manager.
Should a club appoint a director of football this will not count in the settlement of permanent manager markets.
In the event that a club change the structure of their management team and do not call the appointed individual first team manager, Sky Bet will settle the market on the individual who is responsible for selecting the first team. In the event of any ambiguity over the appointment, Sky Bet may determine using its reasonable discretion how to settle the market based on all the information available to it at the relevant time.

Next Manager to Leave

You're betting on: which of the listed managers will be the next to leave their post.

If no manager leaves before kick off the final round of Premier League fixtures then "No Manager To Leave" will be settled as a winner and all other selections as losers. If it is announced a manager is leaving at the end of the season but they take charge of the final league game then they will not be deemed to have left for the purpose of this market.
Gardening Leave will not count towards settlement.
