Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
I placed a bet in-play using the information you provided on your Score Center but the score was wrong. I wouldn't have placed this bet if I had known the correct score, can I have a refund?
Although every effort is made to ensure all live event information is correct, the information should be used as a guide only. For the purpose of Live event betting, please be aware that the data supplied is subject to a delay. The extent of the delay may vary between customers, depending on the setup through which they are receiving the data. In the event of any live event information being incorrect, we assume no liability for this and you would not be due a refund.
I've placed an in-play bet on one of your statistics (stats) markets (E.G. Shots on Target) but I don't agree with the information being provided. What can I do?
There could be two reasons for this. As previously mentioned, every effort is made to ensure all live event information is correct. However, the statistics we are provided are subject to a delay and may be out of date. We do not accept any liability for this and would advise that the information should be used as a guide only.
In some cases, it could be that our Stats provider (Opta) have a slightly different definition as to what constitutes (e.g.) a Shot on Target or a Tackle to what you would expect. In this case, we would refer you to our Opta Definitions page here: https://support.skybet.com/app/answers/detail/opta-football-statistics-definitions/ where you can check your understanding. Live Opta stats are also available here.
Please be advised that some websites such as uefa.com or fifa.com use a different data provider to Opta so using other sites to validate ours isn't always the best approach. However, please bear in mind that they may also be subject to delays and will have their own rules around statistics.
I placed a bet on a half time result which had come in but the game was abandoned. What will happen to my bet?
If a match is abandoned after it has already kicked off, any bets where the outcome has already been decided will stand. All other selections will be made void. Games where a referee removes the players from the field of play for a temporary period but resumes the remaining minutes of play by midnight local event time will not be deemed as abandoned and all bets will stand.
General Rules
- All bets are settled on the result after 90 minutes play unless otherwise specified. This includes injury time but does not include extra time or penalty shootouts. On some occasions we may issue special extra time betting which will be on the 30 minutes including injury time added in that period.
- If a match is postponed, please refer to our Football - Abandoned or Postponed Match Rules article. Games which have their kick-off altered well in advance to accommodate live TV, or to ease fixture congestion will not constitute a postponement. Where a postponed match features as part of a multiple bet, the bet will stand on the remaining selections in the multiple.
- If a match is abandoned after it has already kicked off, any bets where the outcome has already been decided will stand. All other selections will be made void.
- If it is announced within 3 hours of kick off that the game is due to restart within 3 days of the initial abandonment, all bets will stand. Undetermined bets will be void if no information is received within 3 hours of the initial abandonment.
- Games where a referee removes the players from the field of play for a temporary period but resumes the remaining minutes of play by midnight local event time will not be deemed as abandoned and all bets will stand.
- Games or markets where a result cannot be found will result in bets being made void 12 hours after the game has kicked off.
- Timing markets settlement will be taken from the information published by Opta in the first instance, by our live feed provider if Opta don't cover the match, or competition website if this data is unavailable from Opta or any of our live providers.

Bets on these markets refer only to events occurring in Extra Time, so for the market above any corners taken in normal time would be disregarded, and only corners taken in Extra Time would count.
Similarly 'Player to score a brace - ET' would disregard goals they have scored in normal time, meaning they need to score 2 goals solely in the Extra Time period.
