App location issues (iPad/iPhone only)

If the Sky Bet Mobile app says it cannot determine your location, please ensure you have Location Services switched to 'On' for both your device AND the Sky Bet app. These settings can be located within 'Settings' then 'Privacy'

App connection issues (iPad/iPhone only)

On occasion, the app may not be able to establish a connection upon start-up. If this is the case, please ensure you have a strong WiFi or 3G signal and re-attempt. We would also advise visiting an alternative website (such as Sky Sports) within the Safari app to check your connection is working correctly.


If a 'Network connection has been lost' message is given along the bottom of the app, please move into a better signal area or switch to WiFi to clear this error.

If problems persist, also try to 'kill' the app and restart (double-press the home key, tap and hold on the bottom bar and then touch the 'minus' sign next to the Sky Bet app)

Clearing your Browsing History, Cookies and/or Cache

On occasion, your phone or tablet browser may call upon or remember an area of the site from a previous visit to speed up page load. As we’re constantly striving to improve the new Sky Bet Mobile site, this can then cause issues as the browser refers to an out-of-date area or function. For details on how to clear your history or cache, please read below:

Clearing History, Cookies and Cache on iOS (iPhone or iPad)

  1. From your homescreen, touch the ‘Settings’ icon
  2. Scroll down to the 'Safari' option
  3. Select the 'Clear History' and 'Clear Cookies and Data' options


Clearing History, Cookie and Cache on Android

  1. From your app drawer menu, touch the 'Browser', 'Internet' or 'Chrome' icons
  2. When within the browser, touch the 'Menu' icon or press the Menu button on your handset/tablet
  3. Select the 'Settings' option
  4. Select 'Privacy'
  5. Select whether you wish to clear your cache, history and/or cookies using the options provided


Clearing History, Cookie and Cache on Windows Phone

  1. From your device select the Settings option
  2. Swipe across to the 'Applications' menu
  3. Scroll down to 'Internet Explorer'
  4. Scroll down to the 'Delete History' button to clear history, cache and cookies


If you are using an alternative browser such as Opera, Firefox etc. please consult the app's help or support sections for further instruction.

Alternative Browser

The new Sky Bet Mobile site should only be available to browsers which are currently supported. However, due to the increasing amount of alternatives available, this may mean a small number or browsers will not be successfully redirected to our alternative site. To ensure you receive the best experience with the new site, we recommend using the stock or default browsers on your device, i.e. Browser/Internet/Chrome apps on Android, Safari on iPad/iPhone and Internet Explorer on Windows Phone.

To ensure the Sky Bet site/app works with a variety of the latest phones and operating systems (OS), we regularly test it against the most popular handset and OS combinations. These include (but are not exclusive to):
