Horse Racing RequestABets

  • For settlement purposes, any bets which include "unnamed favourite(s)", if there are joint or co-favourites the favourite will be the horse with the lowest racecard number
  • For settlement purposes a rule 4 may apply.
  • Standard dead heat rules apply.
  • RequestABets involving forecasts/tricasts will revert to a CSF/CST (Computer straight forecast/tricast) in the event of any NR's.
  • In the event of any non-runners in all daily and 'Non-runner No Bet' HorseRacing RequestABets, the bet will be settled at the SP of the remaining selections.
  • If any RequestABet is combined with another sport (e.g football, tennis, rugby), the bet will be settled at reduced odds of the remaining selections if any selection does not take part. 
  • For settlement purposes, bets will be settled at the place terms that Sky Bet use for their win market for that race unless stated otherwise (derived markets such as place/insure betting will not dictate the place terms for Request A Bets).
  • For all Football selections in the bets - all bets are for 90 minutes unless otherwise stated. Extra time and penalties will not count - except when a particular selection in the bet contains the phrases 'To Qualify', 'Lift The Trophy' or 'Win The Tie'.
  • For all Rugby selections in the bets - all bets are for 80 minutes unless otherwise stated. Extra time will not count - except when a particular selection in the bet contains the phrases 'To Qualify', 'Lift The Trophy' or 'Win The Tie'.”
  • If a meeting is abandoned, the part of the bet/selection involving this particular meeting will be void, unless the specified number of favourites has already won/been placed.
  • For any selections involving a specified Jockey - If any non-runners (which also includes abandoned meetings or void races) mean that the Jockey does not have enough rides to complete the multiple, the specified Jockey part of the RequestABet selection will be settled as an SP win/place single/multiple on the Jockey’s remaining ride(s).
  • For any selections involving a specified Trainer - If any non-runners (which also includes abandoned meetings or void races) mean that the Trainer does not have enough runners to complete the multiple, the specified Trainer part of the RequestABet selection will be settled as an SP win/place single/multiple on the Trainer’s remaining runner(s).
  • For settlement purposes, any parts of the bet that involves a Race Winning Distance or a Meeting Winning Distance will be settled based on the rules listed below on this page.
  • These rules will also apply to all bets that have been requested by; @TWEnclosure, @Oddschecker and @Sportinglife

Daily Top Up Trebles

You're betting on: whether three named horses will win/place their respective races

  • If any of the selections are non runners bets will be settled as an SP double / single.
  • For settlement purposes, bets will be settled at the place terms that Sky Bet use for their win market for that race unless stated otherwise (derived markets such as place/insure betting will not dictate the place terms for Request A Bets)..

Daily Accumulators

You're betting on: whether the named horses/favourites will win/place their respective races

  • If any of the selections are non runners bets will be settled as an SP accumulator on the remaining selections.
  • If any of the selections is subject to a Dead Heat, bets will be settled as an SP accumulator with Dead Heat rules applied
  • For settlement purposes, bets will be settled at the place terms that Sky Bet use for their win market for that race unless stated otherwise (derived markets such as place/insure betting will not dictate the place terms for Request A Bets).

Daily Favourites

You're betting on: a specified number of favourites winning/placing at a specified meeting

  • If there are joint or co-favourites the favourite will be the horse with the lowest racecard number.
  • If any favourite is withdrawn and no market is reformed. The favourite will be the 2nd favourite with the lowest racecard number.
  • For fields of 4 runners or less the favourite must win the race for place purposes.
  • If a meeting is abandoned bets will be void, unless the specified number of favourites have already won/been placed.
  • For settlement purposes, bets will be settled at the place terms that Sky Bet use for their win market for that race unless stated otherwise (derived markets such as place/insure betting will not dictate the place terms for Request A Bets).

Double Chance

You're betting on: either of two named horses winning a specified race

  • If either selection is a non runner the market will be settled as an SP single on the remaining runner.
  • For settlement purposes, bets will be settled at the place terms that Sky Bet use for their win market for that race unless stated otherwise (derived markets such as place/insure betting will not dictate the place terms for Request A Bets)..

Jockey Markets

You're betting on: a named jockey to ride a win/place accumulator at a specified meeting

  • If any non runners mean a jockey does not have enough rides to complete the multiple, the Jockey Markets will be settled as an SP win/place single/multiple on the jockey’s remaining ride(s).
  • For other Jockey Multiples involving specified races, a price will be offered on a jockey winning (or being placed) in all the specified races.
  • If a jockey is awarded a race due to there being a walkover, it will not be counted towards their total for the meeting as far as this market is concerned.
  • For settlement purposes, bets will be settled at the place terms that Sky Bet use for their win market for that race unless stated otherwise (derived markets such as place/insure betting will not dictate the place terms for Request A Bets)..

Cross Card Jockey Markets

You're betting on: named Jockeys both / all to ride doubles / trebles at their specified meetings.

  • If a meeting is abandoned the market will be settled as a single / double on the remaining jockeys unless the jockey has already ridden the specified number of winners at the abandoned meeting.The market will be settled using the last available price for the respective Jockeys prior to the start of the meeting. 
  • For settlement purposes, bets will be settled at the place terms that Sky Bet use for their win market for that race unless stated otherwise (derived markets such as place/insure betting will not dictate the place terms for Request A Bets)..

Trainer Markets

You're betting on: a named trainer to have a win/place accumulator at a specified meeting

  • If any non runners mean a trainer has runners in only one race the trainer accumulator market will be settled as an SP win/place single on his remaining runners.
  • For other Trainer Accumulators involving specified races a price will be offered on a trainer winning (or being placed) in all the specified races.
  • If there are any non runners Trainer Accumulators will be settled as an SP win / place accumulator on the trainers remaining runners.
  • For settlement purposes, bets will be settled at the place terms that Sky Bet use for their win market for that race unless stated otherwise (derived markets such as place/insure betting will not dictate the place terms for Request A Bets).

Meeting Winning Distances

You're betting on: the total winning distances at a specified meeting being above, below or between quoted brackets, e.g. 9 to 10 Lengths etc.

  • The winning distance in a race will be the officially declared distance between the first two horses past the post that have completed the race, followed the correct course and carried the correct weight.
  • Race Winning Distance classifications: A 'Nose' = 0.05, A 'Short Head' = 0.1, A 'Head' = 0.2 and A 'Neck' = 0.3
  • The Maximum distance per race is 12 Lengths for Flat Racing and 30 for National Hunt Racing
  • In the event of a walkover, 5 lengths will be awarded for a flat race, 12 lengths for a national hunt race (incl. national hunt flat races)
  • Where no official result is declared e.g all horses fail to complete 5 lengths will be awarded for a flat race and 12 for a national hunt race.
  • If a meeting has 1 or more races abandoned or declared void, then all bets will be void unless a winning market has already been established, in which case bets will stand.
  • We may also quote accumulators over a specified number of meetings on a given day - above or below a quoted line. If any of the specified meetings are abandoned bets will be void unless a winning market has already been established, in which case bets will stand.
  • If any of the specified meetings are abandoned, bets will be settled as accumulators on the remaining meeting at the quoted line unless a winning market has already been established at the abandoned meeting, in which case bets will stand.

Race Winning Distances

You're betting on: the winning distance of a named race being above, below or between quoted brackets, e.g. 1 to 2 lengths etc.

  • The winning distance in a race will be the officially declared distance between the first two horses past the post that have completed the race, followed the correct course and carried the correct weight.
  • Race Winning Distance classifications: A 'Nose' = 0.05, A 'Short Head' = 0.1, A 'Head' = 0.2 and A 'Neck' = 0.3
  • The Maximum Make Up is 12 Lengths for Flat Racing and 30 for National Hunt Racing
  • Should only 1 horse finish a race then the winning distance will be settled with only the over winning distance band as a winner with the remaining selections settled as losers.
  • In the event of a walkover, all bets will be void
  • Where no official result is declared e.g all horses fail to complete, all bets will be void.

Horse Winning Distances

  • If the named horse does not win, all bets will be settled as losers.
  • If the result is a dead heat, then the winning distance is classed as 0
  • Race Winning Distance classifications: A 'Nose' = 0.05, A 'Short Head' = 0.1, A 'Head' = 0.2 and A 'Neck' = 0.3
  • The Maximum Make Up is 12 Lengths for Flat Racing and 30 for National Hunt Racing

You're betting on: a wide range of similar markets to ones detailed above, all of which will be based only on races shown live on terrestrial TV (Channel 4 or BBC)

  • All TV markets will be governed by their respective rules detailed above.
  • For settlement purposes, bets will be settled at the place terms that Sky Bet use for their win market for that race unless stated otherwise (derived markets such as place/insure betting will not dictate the place terms for Request A Bets).
