Big Brother Rules

Please Note: Speciality markets can only be placed as SINGLE bets. They cannot be combined in multiples.

General Rules

  • All rules apply to both Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother.
  • Should the series be cancelled before its natural conclusion, and no winner announced, then all bets will be void on any markets which have not been determined.
  • All Reality TV shows can contain twists and unpredictable changes to standard formats. Within this, we reserve the right to void or settle all markets as appropriate in the spirit of fairness to all our customers.

Winner

You’re betting on: Who will win the final of Big Brother

  • All bets stand once the contestant has entered the Big Brother House. Any contestants who do not enter the house will be settled as void.
  • Late entries to the house will also be eligible to win this market, so customers should be aware that the eventual winner may not always be named in the market at the time a bet is struck.
  • Housemates who leave the show by public elimination or any other reasons will be settled as losers - however should a housemate re-enter the competition they remain eligible to win this market.

Top Male/Female

You’re betting on: Which male/female will finish the highest in Big Brother

  • All bets stand once the contestant has entered the Big Brother House. Any contestants who do not enter the house will be settled as void.
  • Late entries to the house will also be eligible to win this market, so customers should be aware that the eventual winner may not always be named in the market at the time a bet is struck.
  • Housemates who leave the show by public elimination or any other reasons will be settled as losers - however should a housemate re-enter the competition they remain eligible to win this market.
  • When only one housemate remains in the market, that housemate will be treated as the winner, regardless of subsequent returns or new entries, and the market will be settled.

Next Eviction

You’re betting on: the next contestant to be evicted

  • Only officially evicted housemates will be settled as winners of this market.
  • A housemate leaving by any other means than public eviction, before a nomination round has taken place will be deemed a non-runner for that eviction and we reserve the right void all selections and revise the market.
  • If a housemate is up for eviction after nominations have been cast and leaves the house prior to being officially evicted by a public vote then we reserve the right to void the market and revise the book.
  • If more than one housemate is evicted and the order of eviction is clear then this will be used for settlement purposes. If the order of eviction is unclear then dead-heat rules will apply.
  • In cases where a double eviction is expected, we may offer a market for double eviction, or to be evicted, with more than one winner possible. When this is the case, bets will be settled according to the evicted people.

Forecast

You’re betting on: who will finish 1st/2nd in the stated order

  • Where we offer a forecast market we will settle if it can be clearly determined the order of places. Otherwise we hold the right to void selections.
  • If a housemate leaves the process without being conventionally evicted we also hold the right to void selections.

Fake evictions

  • In the event of a fake eviction this will not be settled as next eviction, housemates evicted must leave on a permanent basis with no immediate date of return.
  • We reserve the right to void bets placed on an Eviction Market should there be any alteration to the initial line up for eviction post nominations. Others may be added to the market at any time.

Changes to Eviction Rules

  • Should there be a change in format of nominations we reserve the right to void the market and reform the book.
  • In the event housemates have the ability to win immunity from eviction if a market has already been compiled prior to the announcement we reserve the right to void selections in fairness to all customers.
